Ladakh Sustainable Development Summit 2020 was held between 2-5 March, 2020.
Following the invitation our Lead Strategist, Rajan, participated as a Senior Policy Expert of Mountain development. Apart from 2 Key presentations (Vision for Ladakh and, SDGs and Carbon Neutrality), and as Panelist, Dr. Rajan was also the Moderator for the session of Responsible Tourism. Overall, through group-work, dialogue and individual contributions numerous viable actions points on policy and practice were made. The three emerging avenues of work in Landscapes: Land Use Management based on Zoning; Biodiversity Conservation; Green Socio-Economic/Community Development Aspects were stressed.
